USS R-12 (SS-89)

The wreck of USS R-12 was recently discovered in 600 feet of water off Key West, Florida, by an exploration team led by Tim Taylor aboard the expedition vessel RV Tiburon. Please contact us if you are related to anyone who served on R-12.

The following men were lost while serving on USS R-12 (SS-89), including two Brazilian naval officers who were on board to observe a torpedo firing exercise.
